Ruby (9) is a Pug from MN that started on a raw food diet 4 years old.

Ruby is a participant in the Long Living Pets Raw Feeding Study.

“Ruby eats a variety of muscle meat, fat, connective tissue (80%), bone (10%),  liver (5%) and other organs (5%). I feed between 2 and 2.5% of her body weight. I started raw because Ruby had very dry skin and lots of allergies. First I went to a frozen raw patty that rotted her teeth and she had to have 2 removed. It took about 3 months to get her digestive system settled and I started seeing great results in her coat and no itching soon after that. It has been over 5 years now and the only time she has been to the vet was from a reaction to a mandatory rabies shot. She has good energy for a pug and loves to play with dogs lots younger than her.”

Nature at work. Feed what the animal was designed for and all allergies (symptoms of imbalance) will disappear one by one. No need to make it complicated by targeting each symptom with different drugs and medication. Sadly that is what most pets are exposed to and that can have devastating consequences.
